The Beginning

Vogue and Tatler are institutionalised fashion and society bibles respectively. For me, they have been guidebooks throughout my young adult life and inspirations for my future.

It is easy to get swept up in the craze of buying crop tops from Topshop, but a quick flick through vintage Vogue shoots reminds you of what style really is.

This style blog will celebrate the beauty and fashion that Vogue showcases and enable you to infuse those inspirational photo shoots into your own wardrobe. It will be the bridge between the heady fashion heights of Vogue, the stratospheric societal seasons of Tatler, and real life.

At Ode 2 Vogue, we resonate with the words of Andy Warhol and Cecil Beaton.

Let envy-inducing outfit compilations, vintage magazine shoot resurrections, and fastidious fashion commentary commence.

  1. I completely agree in that we need to look back to the originals to guide us, especially when it's so easy to get caught up in today's fast-fashion trends. Lovely first post and I can't wait to see what's next! xx
